Terms and Conditions

For the Purchase of Tickets for The Pookas Polka featuring Headliners DREADZONE On-line @ Brownpapetickets.com and In-House from External Outlets Crafty Birds and Refill Your Boots High Street Whitchurch.

These terms and conditions apply from 1st June 2023. 

Please read the following carefully before purchasing:

By purchasing tickets from our Online Outlet Brownpapertickets.com or from one of our External Outlets, you will be deemed to have accepted all relevant terms and conditions. 

Ownership of the event and the right to grant entry remains with Whitchurch Blackberry Fair

Ticket Availability - Sale of tickets are limited to 6 per purchaser. This is to facilitate fairness in access to tickets. 

• Buying On-Line tickets - When you click through the website (Brownpapertickets.com) to buy tickets you enter into a contract with the event organisers Whitchurch Blackberry Fair

• Buying Physical Tickets - When you buy tickets from our designated Outlets i.e Crafty Birds and Refill your Boots – Whitchurch High St (Cash Only) you enter into a contract with the event organisers Whitchurch Blackberry Fair.

Online Purchases – 

• On-line purchases are subject to a Service Fee payable to Brownpapertickets. Physical tickets are not issued for on-line purchases. 

• When booking you will receive your transaction ticket number and confirmation number by email from the Seller along with your mobile ticket/s. You should retain this information to provide on the door at the Event. 

• If you do not receive an email confirmation please check your spam, and double check that you entered your email address correctly.

• Ticket prices and event times are on the Ticket Website and on Physical tickets sold at our designated outlets – Crafty Birds and Refill Your Boots High St Whitchurch

• The event is standing with some seating provided. 

• Wheelchair access - is provided but with no designated area. The Organisers will ensure Wheelchair users have a good view of the Stage. 

• Concessions cover OAP/Under 16 years/Unemployed and Carers - Tickets purchased at concessionary rates must be supported by valid and current proof and or ID at the Door 

• Making Your Booking: To buy tickets you must register and set up an account or log in with the online ticket seller Brownpapertickets.com 

• When you are logged into the Brownpaperticket.com website you may choose the tickets you wish to purchase and add them to your basket. Please check your purchase carefully before you confirm payment.’. At this stage an offer has been made by you to buy the tickets selected. Once you have offered to purchase the tickets,subject to their availability at advertised prices and your credit/debit/PayPal details being cleared your order will be confirmed 

• When Brownpapertickets accepts your offer to buy a ticket they will charge your debit/credit/PayPal account with the face value of the ticket plus a Service Fee of the face value. The face value and Service Fee will be clearly itemised in your basket before you confirm your purchase and check out.

•  Privacy Policy- Blackberry Fair adopt a strict privacy policy and will only retain information relating to the Event in question.

• This is a family friendly event. However you must be 16 years or older to buy tickets using the Online Seller or High St Outlets. If you are under 16 years old tickets may only be purchased with the consent of an adult, parent or guardian.

• Please keep your Online Booking information to hand as you may be refused entry to the event without it. 

• Brownpapertickets also Operate a Ticket Transfer facility.If you are a recipient please make sure you know who transferred the ticket/s to you

• Reallocation of your On-Line Tickets - If you want to reallocate your tickets not using the above facility please contact Blackberryfair@gmail.com or text 07773047744 given on the website, to make arrangements. 

• When you arrive at the event you need to be able to provide your Mobile Ticket/s and the number purchased to correlate with the same number of attendees. Only the person in whose name the booking has been made needs to provide this information; persons in their party arriving with them do not. 

• Purchase of Physical Tickets 

• Our Outlets – CRAFTY BIRDS ( Whitchurch Bredwood Arcade) and REFILL YOUR BOOTS   (Whitchurch High Street)

• Purchase of Physical Tickets may be sourced from either of these two outlets. These are CASH ONLY purchases.

• Physical tickets are numbered. You will also be asked for a Surname to be used by the Organisers as a record of who Purchased the ticket and the numbers purchased. Once purchased these transactions must be retained and produced to gain entry to the event. 

• Physically purchased tickets are also limited to 6 per purchase

• Re-allocation of Physical Tickets - If as the person making the booking, you wish to reallocate your tickets you should contact Blackberryfair@gmail.com or text 07773047744

Summary of Refunds Policy: 

We will give refunds on all tickets providing the application for a refund is made and received by us seven days before the day of the event. 

• Refunds will not be given on the door at the gig. 

• Applications for refunding of on-line tickets should be made by email to Blackberryfair@gmail.com or to Brownpapertickets.com. 

• Applications for refunding of Physical tickets bought in person should be made at the Point of Purchase. Crafty Birds or Refill Your Boots – High St Whitchurch ( Cash Only)

• Refunds if the gig is cancelled will be given automatically. 

• Any applicable Service or Booking fees made are non refundable. 

•General Information

• Support Each Other - The Pookas Polka is a celebration of Community, Promoting the Arts and Positivity. It’s operated by local Volunteers and we ask you to support these endeavours. 

• Bad or offensive behaviour including the carrying of any weapon will not be tolerated and our staff will reserve the right to ask those who cause offence to leave

• No Smoking -  This is a Smoke free Event.

• Personal Property - Blackberry Fair accepts no responsibility for any personal property taken to an event. 

• Food and Beverage

• Pre purchased Alcohol – Will not be allowed on the Premises. There is a Bar

• In the interest of Sustainability - Drinks will be sold in re-useable Plastic containers. 

• Food - Will be available for Sale outside the Venue 

• Toilets – There are toilets including Disabled facilities available at the Venue

• Pass-outs will be at the discretion of the Organisers. We ask all Ticket holders to respect the Door staff 

• Parking – There are several Car Parks around the Venue. The small Venue Car Park will be reserved for Staff working at the Gig. We recommend walking to the Venue which is easily accessible on Whitchurch High Street. 

• Venue : The Civic Centre/Whitchurch SY13 1AX 

• Important – Headline Cancellation - If details of an event are significantly changed after an order is placed (i.e. significant changes being a change of headline act, that being DREADZONE) Ticket holders reserve the right to a refund. Ticket booking fees are not refundable. 

• Blackberry Fair work hard to present a full programme of supporting entertainment for the Pookas Polka and if such a situation arises reserve the right to Book another Headlining Act of their choosing only if DREADZONE can’t perform. Ticket holders will be given the choice to retain their ticket for the event or receive a refund.

• We advise all ticket holders to check out the Blackberry Fair Website or Social Media platforms for updates.

• If you wish to receive a refund you must notify us of your choice as soon as possible and not later than 7 days before the event. Where late notice of the rescheduling or of changes to an event has been given, due to circumstances beyond our control such as illness, we ask you to request a refund as soon as possible, and no later than the scheduled opening time of the event. If you don’t notify us that you want a refund within the reasonable times set out above, when an event has been rescheduled or changed, you will be deemed to have chosen to retain your booking and you will not be entitled to a refund. Likewise if you wish to retain your booking you do not need to take any further action and your booking will be automatically honoured

• If we suspect anyone to is attempting to buy tickets for the purpose of resale, we will invalidate your booking We reserve the right to cancel ticket bookings which we reasonably suspect to have been made fraudulently.
